Montblanc Writers Exhibition

A couple of weeks age, luxury writing instrument Montblanc held an exhibit at the Bloomingdale’s Atrium of Dubai Mall. They showed their designs which honors the greatest writers of our times – Agatha Christie to Mark Twain.  Each edition of these collectibles bear the author’s engraved signature and are available as fountain pen, ball point pen, pencil, and rollerball.

I share with you my snapshots.

Montblanc has honoured these writers every year since 1922 -writers whose works have such lasting impact on previous and future generations.

Writers Edition Charles Dickens is made of greenish precious resin, 925 sterling silver cap and fittings, and rhodium-plated 18 K gold nib.

Writers Edition Agatha Christie is based on the classic style of early 1920s. Around the cap, made if black precious resin winds a snake (with eyes set with rubies) made of 925 sterling silver, which hints the creeping tension of the author’s novels.

Writers Edition Jules verne is set in blue lacquer over a guilloche of waves, platinum -plated fittings, and rhodium plated 18 K gold nib.

Writers Edition William Faulkner  has cap and barrel made of cast resin, platinum plated fittings and 18 K gold nib.

Writers Edition Ernest Hemingway has coral red and dark brown precious resin, gold plated fittings,

and rhodium plated 18 K gold nib.

These exquisite pens are priced from 1000 AED .
